1. Who we are

AI FootPrint Remover ("we", "us") is run by Shahriar Ahmed, based in Bangladesh. For any privacy question or request, email aifootprintremover@gmail.com.

2. Your images

Images you add to our tools are read and cleaned inside your browser, on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store or share them. Small preview images are created in your browser's memory and are discarded when you leave or clear the page.

3. Information we collect

• If you create an account: your name, email address, username, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and your profile picture if you add one. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and an account ID from that provider.
• Account security data: sign-in times, failed sign-in attempts and, if you turn it on, two-factor authentication settings.
• If you use the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
• Security and abuse prevention: your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with account actions and when our systems detect abuse such as too many requests.
• On your device only: a small counter of how many images you have cleaned today (your daily credits) and your light or dark theme choice, stored in your browser's local storage. We do not receive these.

4. How we use it

• To create and run your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
• To give logged-in users their extra daily credits and the detailed metadata view.
• To answer messages you send us.
• To protect the site from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To show ads that keep the tools free (see section 6).

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect forms from abuse. These cannot be turned off while you use your account.

Advertising partners, including Google, may also set cookies or use similar technologies when ads are shown. See the next section.

6. Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager, including optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch for extra daily credits.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.

A rewarded ad only tells our page that you finished watching it, so we can add your credits. We do not receive any other information about you from it.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we never receive your images. We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting, database and email providers, only as needed to provide their service.
• Google and GitHub, if you choose to sign in with them.
• Advertising partners, as described in section 6.
• Authorities, if the law requires us to.

8. How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information, except where we must keep some of it to meet a legal obligation or to prevent abuse. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Security and abuse records are deleted automatically after a limited time, at most one year.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Email aifootprintremover@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, secure cookies and optional two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will also tell signed-in users by email or with a notice on the site.
